Ola Appoints Vishal Kaul As COO

Ola has appointed Vishal Kaul as its Chief Operating Officer. Vishal is a PepsiCo veteran, who has been with the company since the begining his career in 1999. He has held key leadership positions across operations, sales, and marketing in his career spanning 18 years within the company. Vishal was most recently the General Manager of PepsiCo Foods for Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos.

As COO, Vishal will head Ola’s operations, strengthen Ola’s market leadership, expand its reach to nooks and corners of the country, and widen the base of Ola’s customers and driver-partner fraternity, in line with its mission to build mobility for a billion Indians.

Also, Pranay Jivrajka, Ola’s first employee who has been focussing on leading key strategic initiatives in recent months, has been appointed as Founding Partner and will continue to work closely with Bhavish.

As a global senior business leader with experience of scaling multi-country P&L growth, and with experience of leading large multi-cultural cross-functional teams, Vishal has a track record of driving profitability in complex markets.

Vishal holds a Bachelors in Engineering from Punjab Engineering College and an MBA from Symbiosis Centre for Management & HRD.

MobiKwik Appoints New CBO And Business Head

Indian mobile wallet major, MobiKwik has appointed Vineet K. Singh as the Chief Business Officer (CBO). Vineet is a renowned industry veteran who will own the mandate of leading business at the company and supervising national operations.

Prior to joining MobiKwik, Vineet K. Singh was the Co-founder, CEO, and MD of Buildzar.com. He has more than 16 years of experience in the consumer internet industry. Prior to Buildzar, he was EVP & Business Head of multiple business in Info Edge including Naukri.com, 99acres.com, JeevanSaathi.com & NaukriGulf.com.

He worked closely with promoters of Info Edge while having built businesses from ground up to topline of INR 500 Cr+ and a market cap of over $2 Bn. Vineet is a renowned consumer internet & housing expert, as well as an excellent people manager, communicator, and relationship builder.

Next, MobiKwik has also appointed Bikram Bir Singh as Business Head. Bikram will be based in the company’s Gurugram headquarters, and will focus on accelerating MobiKwik’s growth in various geographies. He will drive ideation, planning, and execution of new business strategies.

Bikram is heading Government, Corporate, Travel, and Biller verticals at MobiKwik. He comes with 15 years of experience in Business Development & Sales Management across CRISIL Ratings, Citibank & ICICI Bank where he was leading business functions across geographies.

During his stint in Crisil as Director – Business Development, he was instrumental in re-defining the target market, strategising the roadmap, and execution of go-to strategy; resulting in phenomenal growth for the business. In Citibank , Bikram has done various P&L and revenue roles where he was integrally involved in execution, ideation and planning of new business strategies in Retail banking and Mortgage business.
