MeitY Startup Hub (MSH) ‘Investor Connect Programme’ in Bhubaneswar provided an opportunity to 10 startups from various sectors like deeptech, healthtech and agritech to showcase their offerings to investors.
Held at KIIT Technology Business Incubator (KIIT-TBI) on May 11, the event was a part of a nationwide series of such programmes being conducted by the MSH. The Bhubaneswar edition was powered by Inc42 and supported by KIIT-TBI as its knowledge partner.
The startups that participated in the event were from the portfolios of KIIT-TBI, FTBI (Foundation for Technology and Business Incubation), and STPI (Software Technology Park Of India).
KIIT Technology Business Incubator is recognised by the Department of Science and Technology. It has been instrumental in propelling the startup culture in India. To date, it has enabled approximately 30 startups to transform their innovative ideas into viable business propositions.
The event commenced with a technology showcase of the startups, following which the founders of the participating startups presented their pitches to investors.
Lead investors from 17 VCs, including SeaFund, India Angel Network, Marwari Catalysts, and Venture Catalyst, graced the event and gave soft commitments for further discussions on investments.

Founded in 2018 by Mrityunjay Sahu and Anudhyan Mishra, Bariflo Cybergentics aims to develop sustainable technology and processes for aquaculture farming by solving critical water and disease issues, benefitting traditional institutional farming.
IG Drones
Founded in 2018 by Om Prakash Das and Bodhisattwa Sanghapriya, IG Drones is an enterprise drone solution provider for surveying, mapping and inspection.
Avay Biosciences
Founded in 2021 by Manish Ashok Amin, Ratnesh Jain, Vettiyoor Suresh Kumar Adithya, and Parivarthan Reddy Basireddy, Avay Biosciences develops innovative solutions, such as advanced 3D bioprinter, for the life sciences and healthcare industries.
Tan90 Thermal
Founded in 2019 by Soumalya Mukherjee, Tan90 manufactures and exports ice gel packs, cold bags, phase change material and more.
Pareto Tree
Founded in 2020 by Thalansh Batra and Kanchan Batra, Pareto Tree is a defence technology company working closely with the Indian defence forces to build outcome-driven technologies for improving the health and safety of the personnel.
Praesus Technologies
Founded in 2018 by Shamik Guha, Sayan Tapadar, Muhammad Bilal Shakil, and Anirban Datta Gupta, Praesus Technologies provides a range of automotive components and accessories and safety helmets.
Inofinity R&D
Founded in 2020 by Ashok Kumar Badamili and Nibedita Thanapati, Inofinity R&D’s Sanjivani kiosk provides a life support assist gadget for the resuscitation of cardiac arrest victims by laypersons.
ClinoHealth Innovation
Founded in 2021 by Dipti Sundar Mohanty, Lizalin Mohanty, and Ranjeet Mohanty. ClinoHealth’s Mo Ambulance aims to redefine availability of emergency medical services.
Smaket Solutions
Founded in 2017 by Bikash Kumar Mohanty and Barsarani Mohanty, Smaket Solutions solves end-to-end supply chain issues for brands, retailers and distributors.
ThinkRaw
The startup was founded in 2016 by Amrita Jagatdeo and Minushri Madhumita. ThinkRaw’s provides ‘Dhivara Mitra’ – an IoT-integrated, solar-powered and auto-navigable solution for enhancing fish and prawn harvest.
The event culminated with a networking dinner where business leaders exchanged views on strengthening the ecosystem and conducting more such collaborative events.
