Lean Startup Machine, the Largest Lean Event, Comes to Hyderabad [Free Tickets Inside]

Lean Startup Machine(LSM) is an intensive three-day workshop from 6th to 8th June 2014 which teaches entrepreneurs and innovators how to build products with huge market potential. It is a metrics-driven startup competition where teams learn to identify the key risks in their business model through hands-on mentorship and our framework of tools.

Lean Startup Machine is NOT a hackathon.

LSM is a world famous lean workshop/event and has been conducted in numerous locations around the globe.

How It Works

The workshop kicks off with a series of product pitches that help attendees organize into teams. Everyone works on a NEW idea. Each team then develops its problem hypothesis, solution hypothesis and a series of assumptions which are core to the success of the business.

Next, each team creates an MVP, or “Minimum Viable Product.” The goal of the MVP test is to “Get Out Of the Building,” speak with real customers and to collect cash or non-cash currency which serves as validation.

The process promotes a problem-centric approach to business ideation. By continuously validating and invalidating assumptions, teams are forced to pivot their solution (and even problem) toward a true customer pain; rather than creating a solution and after-the-fact seeking customers with a problem.

The event culminates with each team pitching its new solutions and its experience using the process. In this competition the winning team is not selected based on who has the best idea, but instead on which team honors the process and gains the most insights through its pivots.

Who’s this event for?

Any startup team that does not have product/market fit, or any aspiring founder, innovator, or early startup employee that wants to learn Lean Startup methodologies from the ground up.

Executives, leaders and innovators in large, medium, and small businesses looking to innovate or create the next successful product or service. Those who are inexperienced or experienced in Lean along with creatives, salespersons, marketers and decision makers can all be coached in the methodologies Lean Startup. This is an intensive educational workshop where you will learn the tools to develop any new business concept – NOT a hackathon.

Got an idea of your own? Great. You’ll have 50 seconds to give your elevator pitch at the kickoff. After voting, if your idea gets selected you will be able to form a team and start working. It’s strongly encouraged that everyone who comes to LSM to start fresh with a brand new concept. However existing startups can also work on their idea as well.

No co-founders? No problem. You’ll meet many talented and smart people and have the opportunity to hear their new startup ideas.
